iSpeakUpStory is a bright, interactive learning tool designed to help develop childrens word recognition and function. These social stories also foster greater independence and attention to the activities of daily living (ADLs). This story can be read in three different languages including English, French, and Spanish.

iSpeakUpStory is not only for typically developing children, but also for children with special needs who have difficulties reading books because of the language development delay related to circumstances such as English as a Second language (ASL), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Learning Disability (LD), or Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Aspergers Syndrome.

Each story highlights different life skills from making a sandwich, pudding, or cereal to getting changed, cleaning, and keeping oneself neat. On each page single words can be highlighted for pronunciation and repetition, giving visual as well as auditory input for word acquisition.

This program was designed by special education teacher, Mr. Kensei Ikeda, with original artwork by a student of his- Rintaro Mori. The story was created by Will Cefalo and narrated and translated by Stephanie Heinz and Jordan Siegel.
